Presentation of Audience Analysis. (November 29-December 13; Weeks 15-17) (10%)
In this presentation, either live or in a video, you’ll describe to your audience (your classmates and me) why you decided on specific genres in order to reach a particular audience in your Composition in Two Genres. You’ll describe in detail several features of your genre, and why you believe those features will appeal to your audience. Some features that you will discuss might include
- color
- font
- text (the kind of language you use and how much text you use)
- image
- video
- arrangement
- other things that I haven’t listed here but that are obvious to you
Purpose: to clarify your understanding of genre and audience.
Length: Five minutes maximum.
